1)  If you had to play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?

Tabletop – Warmachine/Hordes. I have been playing the game ever since I ordered the menoth starter box and a vanquisher online during Gencon 2002/3, before the original prime rulebook was even printed. I play anywhere between 2-6 games a week.

Video game – Battlefield, bad company 2, bf3 and bf4 are all outstanding.

 

2) How did you learn of BOW and how/why did you become a member of the community?

I was flicking through TV channels and came across some sort of news segment that Warren was doing and then went to the website from there.

 

3) What do you enjoy the most about your hobby?

Playing games and as many different types/styles of game as possible. I don’t enjoy every type of game though. I really dislike dungeon crawlers and don’t care for rpgs, I am not interested in crafting a story.

 

4) where would you be if you weren’t working where you work?

I would probably be working in a gym or a personal trainer as I love working out as much as playing games.

 

5) what is your favourite genre to play games in?

Fantasy but usually with a twist. Games I play/ed are the likes of warmachine, bushido, helldorado and guild ball.

 

6) what are your job role where you work?

I manage a games store.

 

7) what did you do before your current job?

Studied electronic engineering at uni.

 

8) favourite all time game?

Tabletop – warmachine/hordes. To be honest if the game ever died then I think I wouldn’t play a miniature game again and just become a board gamer. Honourable mentions go to great western trail and twilight imperium 4th.

Video game – Battlefield 4. Part of a clan and have met up with many members multiple times in multiple countries. The core guys are like brothers.

 

9) what do your co-workers think is your expertise?

Product Knowledge and friendliness. I have often invited customers over to my place to play games.

 

10) favourite alcoholic and non alcoholic drink?

Alcoholic – Jack Daniels & coke, Joker Ipa

Non – Coffee, water

 

11) spare time hobby thats not gaming related?

Lifting weights 4 times a week. Going to as many gigs as possible.

 

12) what do you think others say is your most irritating trait?

My wife would say inviting people over for games then winning them lol.

 

13) can you lick your own nose?

No

 

14) what do you like the most and hate the most about your job?

I love passing on my passion for games to customers either old or new to the tabletop hobby.

I dislike the strange politics that exist in the tabletop industry, it is like a continuation of the sega vs nintendo, xbox vs playstation arguments. Rpg players looking down on card gamers because they think those players are win at all costs type of people, Mini guys looking down on card gamers because why would they pay that money for a piece of cardboard ? etc

Spicy beef/chicken, peppers, onions, jalepenos

Don’t really have a stand out favourite. Not really a film/tv buff.

I do enjoy blues brothers, ferris buellers, captain america first avenger, thor ragnarok

Tool, Nine inch nails, depeche mode, deftones

 

20) who from the BOW would you eat in a zombie apocalypse?

Sam. get him eaten before he gets smaller!
