Cool stuff

IIRC the Dutch army got its first taste of actual camouflage uniforms in the 80’s which looked similar to the US army version in those pictures.
At least I know my dad used to have classic dark green uniform and then it got replaced by new kit (new boots too, no more classic heavy leather boots).

I do have to say that he was n0t in infantry, so there may have been time between the frontline troops and those in the rear with the gear.
