@limburger – I thought about that but we’ll only be dipping in every two weeks for 90 mins or so. The kit that is coming from GW has paints and models which I think I’ll use for if anyone takes a deeper interest. The Kill Teams I’m working on now are, in effect, demo kits to draw them in with “wow, that looks cool, I want to play as these guys”.  Hopefully they will then want to get into the world more and then coming up with their own would be really fun. At the moment though my biggest goal is to break through the veneer of disinterest that a group of 15-17 year olds like to hide behind.

@mage and @avernos smurfs was my gut feeling too. The more I thought about the chapters I like best, what I like about them is the way they aren’t Ultramarines. For an introduction to the universe though, the Blue Bores, as @warzan was saying the Points of View last week, have that easy to identify “good guys” vibe. Keep it simple, right? Not heard of the Blood Ravens though so might give them a wee look

@kiranamida I thought about that when I was looking into the lore of the Primaris. I’ll keep it in mind for the future but for this first round of teams I think I’m going to keep it simple.
