@kiranamida nice progress! And some nice dynamic posing too. I do like the look of massed Cadians like that. And yes, probably best not to fire up the dremel… 20 points for hobby progress.
@mage nice pics re albums. Congrats on getting to see both Audioslave and Velvet Revolver ๐ Really like the way the minotaurs are coming along, and you are getting the project progressed really quickly too. does focusing on smaller numbers improve your focus? Haven’t tried that approach – I usually just accept the fat that I’ll need to do a second detail pass on my units after the first colours are down (but then I’m not going for as high a standard as you are achieving). Nice work on the plasma coils too ๐ 40 points for tunes, progress and responses.
@sundancer I see what you did there ๐ Classic track. Yes the jump pack primaris marines do look a little bulky with all their extra armour – I find it helps to imagine them with massive exhaust plumes firing form their jump pack jest and possibly some muzzle flashes and empty ammo shells ejecting from their hand cannons. At least that’s the way I’d go with them if I ever got around to painting my starter set up… ๐ 20 points for responses.
@sundancer @mage “Flovering” is now my word of the day ๐
@woldenspoons congrats on the progress. Happy to see pics when you are happy to post them ๐ 20 points for hobby progress.
@limburger or heat friction effects painted on their feet as though the extra armour on the drop troopers is acting as a heat shield? 10 points.
@blinky465 good to hear you are making some progress ๐ How big is the print bed on your new I3? Greyskull seems to be printing nicely. And more miis to paint ๐ How far are you planning on taking the project? I know there were several dozen characters by the end of the initial run of the franchise and no idea what’s been added subsequently… 20 points for hobby progress and getting some results out of your current printer.
@tuffyears looking good! Quite the solid force you have without the incoming reinforcements. Looking at picking up the new Abaddon mini as well? I think it might well be worth it just for the fun of painting him up ๐ 20 points for hobby progress.
OK, haven’t done any painting since the weekend so might try and work on a few character models so I can finish them this weekend…
