Hey guys. Im a bit late and the thread is officially closed but I wanna post anyway now that I have the free time. Today is the last day of my son’s visit and I’m at work. Had him a full week which is great but he has been the main focus of my attention and free time. My hobby has been minimal.

I’m hoping to do hobby when I get home; working on my Minotaurs and hopefully assembling my Conquest Terrain. Im hoping to finish at least one colour and aim for two, but it will be time consuming. Ill see how I feel.

I think I’ve fallen behind the conversation a bit so a bit of a swift recap insofar as replies.

@evilstu Neither would I. Maybe more an Inquisition type? Like Ordo Hereticus? I had one coffee on the way home from the gig so that’s like… 2 over the course of 8-10 days now. Im tempted to get one at work now out of sheer boredom but I do not need it. I will need it on my night shift. As for the player base I think we are close to market saturation, unless there is a boom in the economy and people end up making more to spend on stuff and get more time to paint and play.

Nice sprues. Whats the point of no cape though?

Are all those minis for one project or several? Also the shieldwolf bases would look great if the base recess was filled and then the mini was added to the top.

@tuffyears How are you finding Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? Im playing too much Tetris 99 on the Switch. Played on and off for about four and a half hours last night. Cool medal! What exatly is an anniversary prize?

@robert nice assembly of those minis! J

@limburger That Chronos mini is veeeery cool.

@blinky465 It is always nice to see some DIO.

@robert I heard that too, that it was used in Vietnam.

@sundancer Hobby looks good. Its kinda cool to see how consistently what you are working on is Star Wars. Comforting even. Like… a toasted cheese sandwich and bowl of tomato soup on a bitterly cold day.

@evilstu Did you 3d print that terrain and boats or did you buy it? I particularly like the longboats. I dig the Albion army. Man that takes me back. I loved that Campaign. Shame they don’t do ones that are that good any more.

Has the 3d printer caused you much problems or needed much work since you got it? This type of thing is the reason why I’m on the fence about getting one for the foreseeable future.

A new thread? Whoop! Im working a twelve hour day tomorrow, Good Friday, which is a holiday here in Ireland. Its not an official public holiday but most Government workers get the day off and most business close for it. So, it kinda is and kinda isn’t.

Ill see if I can upload some videos to my Instagram and post them here. I’d be more than happy to share videos I just don’t know how to do it. I took a bit of footage at this gig to be fair. It was a great gig. There were two opening acts but me and the mrs took our sweet time checking out nerdy shops and eating in a 50s style American diner and came in half way through the second warm-up. It was a folky (though not country) American rock band called ‘The Devil Makes Three’. There was an intermission and then Dropkick Murphys came out and played for about an hour and a half. I’ll type up more on this shortly.
