Tangentially related question for @dignity

How did you paint that sword?  Lots of 17ml bottles through an airbrush?  Did one bottle last long enough?  Or was it mostly rattle cans?  Did you bother shading and highlighting, or allow its 1:1 scale to take care of that?  Any weathering / blood stains planned?  Or can I just wait for a vlog?
