@tuffyears – is that guy related the the drummer from Lynyrd Skynyrd? He would have made a great guest for the Jeremy Vile show! I still have some Wacoshop paints, maybe twenty, that are half empty. I chucked loads of them and the ones I have left are colours that I think are useful, but when they go I will have to find a Vallejo alternative!
I started to change over to Vallejo about two years ago. ‘Iraqi Sand’ rules. They have a much better range for my uses (Infinity and modern stuff) and they come in better bottles.
Wacoshop have had to change their “formula” over the years and not because they want a better product for the customer, but because they don’t pay their suppliers and get cut-off. However, their washes are very good.
Informative video. As interesting as those paints look they are not for me.
Aussie SAS in local dress w/M4 and Soflam. Tasty mini or what? I couldn’t sleep last night so I started drawing some plans for new middle-easter style buildings. I already have a Force-on-Force series of games ready to go, but I fancy some new terrain.
Other than @oriskany is there any other modern players here? Anyway, my EOD team need a new vehicle before they can ‘move-out!’
Anyone seen ‘Bluestone 42’?
@unclejimmy – thanks! I will let you know. I have just spray varnished the double-upright container and will see how it comes out a bit later. I intend to airbrush a couple of coats of Russian Uniform green over the hairspray and then see how it compares to the others.
I want a mix of new-and-old boxes/containers. Our Infinity games have an industrial look to them. There is a waterside dock with overhead crane (great for TO camo snipers), Mag-Lev train (needs a station) with monorail too, places for workers to live, food trucks, and I want to make a bar!
Have you seen the hexagonal pool tables from AW? That is why I want to make a bar.
