I had a major burn out a while ago, I stepped away for the hobby for nearly 5 years. When I got back into it, it was BoW that actually helped rekindle my love. On top of that, I actually found the opposite of @commodorerob helpful. I now have 3-4 small projects on the go. I will do one project, then when I get bored of it, I pack it away, and get the next project out.

I personally find that the change in palette colours, techniques and minis help keep my interest. As I said, this is a personal thing for me and I do know people who, like Commodorerob will completely finish a project before the next one. That is why I love the hobby so much, everything is so personal and what might work for me, might not work for you.

Burnout is one of the things I think every true hobbiest will have at some point. Find what works for you mate.
