Among all great advice here I’d stress one more thing: meet the people sharing your hobby. Play some games, focus on one title for couple of weeks maybe months. For me it always worked wonders – desire to play painted minis on great terrain and glory of making your friends envious of your hobby prowess, no other fuel needed 😉
