It cost me three quid. That’s less than a fancy coffee (hey, Brighton prices you know) and not much more than a pot of Citadel paint. Even if it only ever worked with the couple of models in it, I thought it worth a punt to support the developers and to play with a cool tool. It’s still a bit of throwaway fun, even if it never progresses. But, if we support them at beta stage, they’re more likely to make it through alpha and to final release (and I’m guessing that early adopters get an upgrade path rather than have to buy it again?).
Not being critical (hey, we all do what we like with our own money) but genuinely surprised to hear £3 is considered expensive in a hobby that charges more than double (sometimes between three and eight times that) for a single mini.
I’m going to try contact the developer and find out how this “make your own svg” thing works – maybe with a few Blood Bowl minis, a few more people might be tempted to give it a go?
