@sundancer does it really need to  have ‘transport X’ when a vehicle like the Barc speeder has a sidecar so the character could simply replace one of the troopers ?
I seem to recall a speeder conversion that had Luke replacing the driver/rider.

@hobbyhub I’m sure that from a narrative point of view that’s always an option.
The ‘long range comms’ option appears to ‘solve’ the comms distance problem, but I I think that is supposed to be used on squads and not on commanders.
