Be it facebook, discord or a forum, as long as they can search your username they have all the tools needed to dig the dirt.

Forums tend to be a bit better managed since behavioral code is stricter and provides more admin control. Everyone can make a discord or facebook group, but a decent forum is a financial investment not often made by people that ain’t passionate about the subjects they cover.

That and rallying a group of people to sign up their email for a forum in order to take offense is a lot bigger step than clicking that group join button on facebook or discord.

Still inflammatory people are present in all social mediums.
