Finally I paint something Dark Age adjacent. I could use him in a Saga Crusade force I guess. The Black Douglas. The Good Sir James. Robert The Bruce’s right hand man at Bannockburn and one of my distant ancestors on my mum’s side. I have seen his tomb and his heart in a lead casket in a chapel in Scotland.
