ok, so I’m late to this but my two cents are that I l prefer the new format for the casual chat , shooting the breeze style conversations for the XLBS. I think the weekender could benefit from going back in studio but I agree with those suggesting a hybrid model with some studio based segments where appropriate.

someome in the thread mentioned that the majority of people on this thread prefer the old format and I’m not sure that’s true so being a data analyst I couldn’t help but run the numbers and found that that 11 respondents clearly state a preference for the old studio format , 9 state a preference for the new format and 8 people say they would like to see a mix of both(myself included).  A few others also had responses along the lines of “no preference”

I wouldn’t call that decisive one way or the other. If anything it supports the hybrid model. But the dataset is too small to draw any real conclusions about the community at large.
