- Vallejo Transparent Blue works damn well on transparent parts like this Nolzur’s model from WizKids for D&D
- Black 2.0 from Culturehustle is a little delicate; I dinged the one base slightly. It might be best to prime black and then seal before going back with this paint if a very flat matte finish is desired.

- Woodland Scenics wave effect has a shelf life. After letting the material sit on the base it settled to being merely ripples. If you buy it be sure to use it quickly
