I’m working on my Blood and Valor armies and I couldn’t find enough light machine gunners for my German East Africa force so I got some Asia Korps minis from Brigade Games. The uniforms are slightly different but pretty close.
The tan hats are Seebataillon marines that I’ll add to my naval landing party squads. I have no evidence that SMS Koningsberg had any marines but rather doubt it did but it works narratively for me.
The grey hats will be Schutztruppe gunners. The grey field cap was replaced right before the start of the war so this represents either called up reservists still wearing the old hat or someone that never got the new issue Sudwester hats.
Of course all are armed with captured British gear.
