On a broader scale – not limited to GW or gaming at all – I have noticed that things – which can literally be anything – sell out and become ‘rare’ or ‘collectible’ or ‘OOP’ or whatever in no time at all these days.  A process which used to take years or even decades now takes months, weeks or, in extreme cases, days.

Which leads to insanity like mass market paperback books that originally cost $5.00 less than a few years ago now cost $ 60.00, even on used book sites…..
