There’s been a few “leaks” of pricing via retailers, if they are correct then I was both wrong and right in some of my predictions.

The starter sets came in under by low end prediction of £185.

Bretonian Starter set £155

Tomb Kings Starter set £175

There’s no doubting that at over £150 each they are expensive, however they almost certainly offer “value” vs purchasing separately.

The regiment sets are a mixed bag, the old Tomb Guard (20) comes in at a whopping £47.50, that’s above my top end estimate meanwhile the new Foot Knights (10) are an eye watering £50.

So it appears, hook you in with a “value” starter then make the money on the regiments. It will be interesting to see what the prices of the old metals are when they come out and of the new resin characters.

I’ve no real interest in the skellys or the frenchbrits but if a Empire starter set game out at a similar price point for its contents I could be tempted to pick that up later in the year, as much to finish off old armies for Kings of War as anything.
