15mm SAGA samurai

So while still on the 15mm train I thought it would be good to use the expanded freetime to do some Samurai.

I decided to go with SAGA for rules and unit composition as I already know the game and dont want to paint another 2 mass armies.

Here are the first minis I painted for the Ii clan. 4 Hatamoto Samurai (who still waiting for transfers to be applied) and 4 Ashigaru with teppos.

I used Peter Pig minis for both the Ii samurai and the Sohei. For the Hatamoto, which basically are noble high ranking veterans I used minis from the „winning the fight“ set. The heads will make them stand out a bit more I think and since head collecting was quiet hip back in the days it looks not to out of the place.

Next up are 4 wartior monks.

They look great! By the way you really don’t want to do two mass armies. I am in the middle of doing that right know and I have no idea why I am doing this to my self ;P
