For some odd reason I don’t get any email notifications any more. Last Emails I got were from the 8. February. @tgu3 @timchubb any backend changes? provider blacklisted? (Yes I checked my spam folder ;))

@timchubb had taken notifications offline over the weekend while he works on a performance issue related to sending them out.

(we think that is the cause of the 524 errors and the slow forums etc)

Ah, thanks @warzan Could this also have any connections to the XLBS being terribly slow? (I’m not able to get consistent video higher 360p instead of heaving a 100/40MB VDSL line.

@sundancer unfortunately not, that will be to do with the CDN network that vimeo use (most probably) the videos are entirely hosted on their infrastructure, so unless there is some form of browser issue we can diagnose its most likely down to a gremlin in their system. 🙁

Emails are back but have some goofy HTML (in Android Gmail at least). Not the end of the world but I thought you might want to know.

There’s certainly something odd going on with the mails right now.

At least the links now works, but it looks like there’s an encoding issue with some HTML code being displayed in plain text.
