I remember seeing a game at a FLGS that was historical, but the publisher had rules for fantasy armies that could fight your historical armies. I cant seem to find any info on it now, and I don’t remember what either system was called. Was this a fever dream, or does anyone know what im talking about?

How long ago would this have been. There are quite  a few historical  rulesets that have fantasy supplements

there are a few, if it was recent I would guess maybe Kings of War: Historical and regular KoW.

Warhammer and Warmaster have ancient versions, Hordes of the Things could do it as well.

Kings of War by Mantic Games perhaps, it has a historical supplement.  It is a very abstract game though, in that it doesnt claim or try to be historically accurate.

    Or what Gerry said

Was it mass battle? It could have been sword and spear, that has a fantasy edition.

If it was more skirmish then it could have been dragon rampant or there’s a few other osprey sets that could do that.

If this was fairy recent, could it have been SAGA?
