On the older 1.0 I used to have to edit the HTML code to do a rotateimg=90 due to taking pictues using an iOS phone and it hardcoding the rotation into the picture.

I have tried to create my first project, and it is very slick and easy to add content. However I have the old problem in that my pictures need to be rotated, but I cannot see a way of having the option in the project to do this, or how to edit the html myself to fix it?

Is there a way to rotate images once uploaded into the projects please?

    Cheers, Mark.

@marktarver i’m having the same problem, even if i rotate the original image i get a rotation problem, i now have some pics upside down!

@warzan are there technical wizards your end who could help with this?

    Here is an example: https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-entry/1261293/

Can we rotate the picure in the project somehow?

Wordpress itself supports rotating but only in the backend. I can’t find any command to “force” WP to do so in the frontend.

    Hi @marktarver @civilcourage @sundancer

Image rotation is on a list of features we have in mind but I have no info whatever we can create a feature that will work or when that might be yet.

In the meantime, there are free online image rotators that may help. Try searching “online image rotation tool” on google.

Basically this shouldn’t be needed since every OS (mobile and stationary) comes with a rudimentary function to edit pictures today 😉 So just rotate it before upload and all is well. (yes, I know, some mobile phones are a PITA in that regard, I’m just playing devils advocate here)

@lloyd & @sundancer thanks for the responses. I had a go at rotating the picture on my phone and re-uploading but it still came out wrong. Ill just try some more and see what happens.

Update – Rotating the picture didnt work but cropping it on my mobile a little seemed to work (even though the picture is in exactly the same orientation!)
