Operation Market Garden 75th anniversary

Next to D-Day this is probably the one that a lot of people will be familliar with already.

This saturday (14th september) there a lot of WW2 era vehicles will travel along much of the same route that the allies drove 75 years ago.

It’s done in two parts :

– 14 september : Leopoldsburg in Belgium to Veghel ( https://omg2019.nl/en/route-south/ )

– 22 september : Veghel to Nijmegen ( https://omg2019.nl/en/route-north-sunday-september-22-2019/ )

There is a basecamp at the location of Dropzone A :

It was spectacular to see those old vehicles drive past a few years ago.
