Mortem et Gloriam and new Ultracast plastic 15mm Ancients preorder store now open!
https://meg.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders/212575
Your one-stop shop for Simon Hall’s acclaimed Ancient & Medieval wargaming rules, his CCC system (that can be used with any of his rules), and our new Ultracast plastic 15mm Ancients range.
The shop is open from 11 December 2019 to 13 January 2020. Choose the items you wish to pre-order and complete your shipping and payment details. Your cards will be charged after our shop closes in January 2020, and we’ll ship your order out as soon as the products hit our warehouse in Spring 2020 (it will be with you a few weeks before retail release).
Our shipping rates are a flat fee (excluding heavy Battle Mats), so the more items you order the more cost-effective your shipping becomes.
While the art is nice, do you have any more pictures of the minis or information on Ultracast?
I wont be buying or ordering anything until after Christmas so will have another look then
Ultracast is the latest in plastic production technology!
It’s got a bit of flex in it – this is so important for guns barrels and spear shafts and we’re really pleased with the result. We’re a clumsy bunch here at PSC and can confirm that to snap this plastic you’d need to do something far more drastic than dropping a model on the floor!
It can be glued with ‘superglue’ rather than polystyrene cement.
Detail is very sharp
It takes paint really well – the plastic takes acrylic and enamel paint very well with no preparation needed.
More pics over next few days
Been waiting for plastics to hit 15mm for historical gaming (other than WW2/Moderns), excited to hear about this, but we need more pictures of the minis and sprues to whip up the excitement.
its not! 🙂
On Facebook they were saying they have signed up to sell the old 15mm Corvus Belli range
Just had Corvus belli agreement confirmed in an email from PSC:
“New Corvus Belli 15mm Ancients and Medieval licensing deal!
“We are delighted to announce PSC have signed a licensing deal with our good friends at Corvus Belli to produce and sell their excellent 15mm Ancients and Medieval miniatures range
“Currently out of production, we will bring this well-beloved, high quality miniatures range back into production over the course of 2020. We will initially produce them in plastic using our new excellent Ultracast system and then also in metal a little later.”
Just went on to the website to pre-order the rulebook. 17 Brit pounds postage to Australia. Ouch, aborted. Will you guys have an Australian stockist when the rules are released?
thanks
I think they do flat rate shipping.
No matter the amount bought it’s the same cost. Can be a pain for those wanting small amounts, but a boon for those doing large orders.
It’s what they did for the recent NorthAG pre-order campaign I believe.
will the final models typically have that amount of lines to clean off each one as per single picture? Are they unicast or multipart? do the boxsets come with the correct bases for the game it is being launched with if not what bases do you recommend?
thanks and keep up the great work
