Victrix figures and shields. I combined the Greek Peltasts bodies and javelins with the unarmored Hoplites spears and thureos shields to make some Greek thureophoroi troops for Clash of Spears and Saga: Age of Hannibal.
World War 1 Imperial German Schutztruppe in German East Africa. Figures from Brigade Games. For use in Blood and Valor.
Speed Painted the whole collection. Very chuffed with the result although I am really not fussed about the game itself. Models are beautiful though, especially the aliens.
Picked up a bunch of (very) old Minifigs Mythical Earth and Sword & Sorcery minis. Loads needing repair work for lost swords/spears etc… totally old school sculpts but with a real charm to them (in my opinion). This one is SS16 Bleaklands Barbarian Axeman / Cimmerian Chieftain… bear in mind these were released back around 1974 I believe… lost axe so replaced with a Thunderbolt Mountain sword. Admittedly my paint job suits the time period 🙂

Been a while since I last posted,, been working on a few things but most recently Ive been trying to sculpt a Bear giant for Burrows and Badgers, because, well why not?!
