Wasteman is my go to game, I introduced it to my club and they loved it. Its regularly requested on a games night and we always have a great laugh. This is the main point for me, its easy to learn but has enough tactical depth should you need it. The miniatures are bonkers and varied allowing you to create a posse of your design. Each one comes with its own stat card which gives a sample set of stats to get you going. These can be modified should you wish or you can create your own for your miniatures. The artwork on the cards and rulebook are amazing and have their own unique style. With the Rulebook comes a set of MAD cards (Mutually Assured Destruction ) These cards are drawn and played throughout the game and add a really good fun aspect to the game, they vary from alien abductions to Tornados & Oil slicks.

A Wasteman table always looks great, you can use pretty much any terrain you have available although we have fun creating our own for custom scenarios. There is also an official range on the website.

Jason Fairclough (the creator) adds to the rules frequently and is always engaged with the community, when you think that he has done everything on this game its quite mind boggling. Rules for Behemoths and vehicles work seamlessly with the skirmish game and there are plenty of mods you can use to tweak your games such as multiplayer or instagib.

I really can’t recommend Wasteman enough, the miniatures, the rules, the community, Thunderchild Miniatures, its the most fun we ever have with a game, people can pick it up easily and it has a low barrier to entry.
