model a huge axe into a eletricgutar, and paint kiss makeup on his face with platform boots 😉
Orcs was made 4 rokkin!
Goff Rockers FTW!
OK, an ogre with a digeridoo! or a theramin!
An ogre using a bagpipe made from a dwarf slayer
That would be brilliant.
I second, any sort of bagpipes would be good.
I say you model an ogre with an Acordeon and a little gnobblar (or sword gnobblar model) with a red vest and fez on dancing on the base.
You should convert all you ork models to look like they are all dressed up in tuxedos and fighting with classical instruments. Then you can call you army “teh orkestra”….aaaaah…legendary.
HAHAHAHA!!!! OMG!!! love it dude!!
quite like the ogre with a boombox but i quite like the idea of a orc dressed up as elton john with a microphone stand
A bone xylophone or skull bongo drums maybe!!!!?
You could play the intro from Pokenmon, cause that would scare the crap out of me! xD
Ork dressed as Ozzy, biting the head off a bat for added comical value.
Either that or dressed as slash, playing air guitar on an axe and call him smash, or some other equally orky variant name.
the orge musician should be playing the tuba or bagpipes
GW actually made a great ork musician

An ogre dressed like a wild west saloon girl? Call the unit “Betty’s traveling beauties” if you do 😉
An ogre musician with a triangle of course.
Or a dinner bell.
The only insturment an Ogre woud care about is the dinner bell.
Personally I think giving most (if not all) units a free reform is just a bit too forgiving.
On a Leadership test that is. Which follows the theme of Leadership (Disciplined troops) being a very important part of maneuvering (Reform after running down a unit, Ignoring the need to charge while Frenzy, Redirecting your charges, March movement with in 8″ of an enemy unit and so on) your units. Also if you fail the Ld test you still count as if you’ve tried to Reform/March and suffer from that (no shooting, -1 to hit with bows and so on) even if you just stand still.
I still wonder if you couldn’t have some Magic Instruments just as you have Magic Standards. But then you have to come up what exactly puts the two, magically, appart. Still think I’ll try to make some special character musicians, like the special character champions we now occationaly get in our army books, to try out for some future campains.
you could use the organ of the Exorcist tank… stick it on a chariot or something.
Ogre musicians know opera.
I wonder what playing this* song from a tank would do to the enemy.

oh god……………….i think they’ll be stunned thinking……………what the hell!
an ogre with a boom box…id buy that in an instant…
and i agree w/ darrel, screw leadership, fr me, u fight to the death!
How about an Ogre playing a vuvuzela? That would strike fear, or annoyance into the hearts of his enemies.
haha. i think that should be a party peice. The ogre blowing the vuvuzela infront of a horde of orcs who have their hands over their ears.
if you want to be cool in your tank play “Panzer battalion by Sabaton”.
if my memory dont fail me ther is some “metal” orks with e-guitar and such.
I want to see a orc playing on a snotling or squig.
What about an ogre playing a rib cage xylphone? he’s eaten now he playing it? Mwhahahahahahaha!
What! And waste those tasty bones!!!
27 pages of good music combined with Orkz (it’s 40K, but I could see some of it working for fantasy too): http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160098
I would like to see an Ogre with a nobler in each hand, bashing them together and relying on their screams and cries to direct the horde.
I’d love to here those directions… You lot – “OWCH” – go there – “OOF” – and you lot – “GAH” – go there – “OWEE” – I’ll stay here – “YIPE” – and shoot them – “ARGH”
I love the idea of an Orkestra 🙂 but with ogres, it’s more like a singing waiter.
OR!! the Go Compare singer (for you UK guys you’ll knopw what i mean)

Bagpipes, definitely bagpipes!
i say bagpipes with the ogre supplying the air and two or three goblinars fingering the pipes (no, that was not intended as a sex thing.)
Regarding the whole show: I have many friends that need those gentle reminders of their original points 😉 “The topic we’re on is over THERE. Remember?” 😀
As for an Ogre with boombox, it’s a very simple conversion: use the arm of a bellower, attach at a different angle, using greenstuff to modify the musculature to the new shape and then place the plasticard beatbox in 😀
Regarding orcy musicians: Who remembers the fairly old Orks with guitars etc?
John, for you, I have two words: Dirge Caster. To which I had to follow up with (due to the Spice Girls reference): Slaanesh. Let’s be honest, who better to have a sound system installed and who better to realise that there is no equal to the pain and horror or Spice Girl songs?
Didjeridoo for Ogres!
an electric guitar with a knoblar holding the amp xD
XYLOPHONE and some cymbols. Think about it. It’s like a drum but then it isn’t
Could also have a one man band with drum, cymbols, horn, bells, etc. just crap straped the the ogre everywhere
lol well maybe be some goblins using dwarf helmets as drums (aka ewoke style) the ork umm i see the ork with a huge base drum theat he just bashes like crazy or even maybe a moving squig organ or something that would be interesting. kinda wanna play fantasy now but i am stuck and loving 40k loving my boyz. they need some kinda musician in 40k now just for the hell of it*
an ogre with a tuba would make my day
