Banzai. Its always those dice. How was the feel of the Japanish? How are the units firepower compared to other nations? Did you include any heavy units? And or tanks yet? Like to know how they play out to be.

Good luck on your next game.

Hey, Sven! ( @neves1789 ) Hope you have a great time at the Bolt Action Boot Camp. Wish I could be there to to meet you in person. Always like to see people playing Pacific-themed forces. Europe gets so much of the attention in WW2, especially Western Europe. Sounds like the dice were against you in that first game. When @dignity asks what you might change in your second game (0:27), you might say . . . “Yeah! I’d like to change my opponent’s dice!” Just kidding of course. Great video and have a great time!

I agree. These are Japanese.and will usually be required to fight better equipped armies and lose a lot of men but if they can hold objectives they can win.

I am really interested in the continuing information regarding the Japanese force. The Japanese were a ruthless fighting force. I would believe any player using the force would find the niche eventually, find how the Japanese army really works well. Practice and time will provide the ultimate satisfaction. I myself will be looking into this.

Oriskany’s right, so little Pacific gaming it’s a real shame. Lots of possibilities with Commonwealth, French, Dutch, U.S. and Soviet armies.

I enjoy my Japanese army and love the rules, but I do wish there were more model choices as compared to the European theatre.

Not a fan of the Pacific though it sounds like the Japanese are the crazy Russians of the Axis

I really like playing US but the Marines just don’t do it for me, and Pac theater doesn’t interest me nearly as much as the Euro. Maybe if there were ship rules, boosted rules with airstrikes and naval bombardment? Caves like Iwo?

Pacific was a tough theatre… Hard to play a game set in that…

I’ve faced off against the Japanese a few times and they are definately worth keeping at arms length.

NIce to see the japanese army in battle. An pacific themed table is interesting me. Good luck with your next battles.

It is really difficult to come out and be aggressive in a game your first time. Good for Sven taking it to the enemy!
