Age of Sigmar Stand Getting Lots of Attention

Clear on the other side of the exhibition hall, we found a GW rep with an Age of Sigmar stand! Very friendly and chatting it up with gamers. They have a nice display as well as the sprues laid out for people to have a look. Well done, GW. 🙂

If GW had bothered to fill out the correct visa for the European staff then yes there would of been.

As GW couldn’t get that right then no 😉

Maybe I’m missing something but everything I can verify on this, straight from the US state department, and London’s own US Embassy, there is only one Visa, and in this case a nonimmigrant status should have been probably been granted under the Visa Waiver Program:

So far there doesn’t seem to be any indication, straight from the sources, that there are any other “correct” ones they could have applied for in the first place.

So far my BS meter is riding high on this one….

Check with @sandchigger (twitter) who doing some coverage at GenCon – He has confirmed with Forgeworld that the GW staff got turned back and Forgeworld staff are covering 😉

It seems they said they were on vacation and got rumbled at customs.

But then if I was sent to demo AoS, I would of made that call and got myself deported 😉

At least now they are there and not acting like the rest of the industry doesn’t exist, it will be great to make a interview with their staff… but probably that will too much for them right now 😛

An interview with them would be great. Short but great.

At first glance Part of me thought some angry but well prepared person had put a never banner next to the stand. 🙂

Anything that shows some humility and preliminary olive branches on GW’s part is a good thing IMO.

Good on them for making it to the show. If it goes well for them, hopefully we see more floor space next year. (Might be the pics, but looks a bit cramped in that booth for demo games.)

I think so yes. I must come clean….I was at Warhammer world 3-4 weeks ago and saw this display in the foyer. Also, out on the gaming tables I noticed some scenery I hadn’t seen before. Turns out its the new stuff available for pre order this weekend….sorry should have taken some pics and sent thm through to BoW.
