Captain Alphastrike Takes Us Through His Soviet Gameplan

Justin finally gets to bring out his Soviet force onto the tabletop for the boot camp.

He has a 50 point list custom made to do some destruction across the map. My only question is why he displays such hatred for train stations?

He definitely needs a prize for going up against all that armor and firepower!

Caesar, where’s the superhero comic for Captain Alphastrike vs the Nazis? At the least, we need to see his costume. Pants on the inside or outside?

The KVs are an impossible target, mobile pill box, log range artillery, and extra machine guns, all in one.
shame they are no good in a baggy Finnish forest.

I ;aughed my Arse Off when I saw the “Captain Alpha Strike” title of this post, especially as I had seen the two armies and made the same remark myself.

It does seem a little unfair to deploy all tanks versus a mixture of infantry and tanks.

Why does Justin hate the train station? What did it ever do to him?

That infantry desperately needs some anti-tank guns to take on all that.

Wondering if that force includes any Russian tank dogs?
It might be that young lads only hope for a win 🙂

As a rule a Russian game plan is rushing forward no matter what, pounding enemy positions with loads of artillery shortly before that, releasing a tank tornado beyond description, suffering many casualties and then starting the whole procedure all over again.
Da, tavarish McAuleyov?
