I’m looking for a set of modern rules and the stuff from these guys is normally pretty good..
Team Lard are still fighting fit.
Hhmm I have modern aussies, and I’ll be able to play force on force, sangin, and now this? Sick~
modern rules appeal to me, but they don’t seem to be pretty popular. This might be worth looking into?
@redben is there much out there in Modern?
Yes, @rayzyr, there’s Force on Force, Ambush Alley, Skirmish Sangin, and now this. 3rd Generation Warfare was released at Salute yesterday and that covers from 1950 to the present day (the banner photo of the tanks just above this news item is from their table). There’ll be others I don’t know about/have slipped my mind. Likewise with minis ranges. The Assault Group, Empress Miniatures, and Skirmish Sangin spring to mind but there are others.
Did anyone get to see this being played? It was lunchtime when I passed it and everyone had down-tools. Looks potentially great 🙂
They really have the look of Afghanistan nailed except the interior of the compounds should have more refuse and debris.
Thats interest as CoC is stuff a good game
Too Fat Lardies stuff seems to be well received whenever I’ve seen or heard about it, would be interesting to hear more about how a modern era game plays out.
If these are as good as Chain of Command then they are a must for anyone interested in that period.
I would love to see some COC coverage on BOW.
Its a cool game
I like there scenery
