I’ve always love the Afrika Korps uniforms, some of my favourite of the war.

I have two unpainted Panzers which I’m tempted to paint up in a desert scheme.

John’s army on the table looked good, so I’m all on that colour scheme.

I didn’t know there was such a variety of colors used. Definitely looks like a fun theme to paint

I am going to have to bookmark these painting tips. For when I inevitably pick up a ton of models 😀

Does anyone know what the colour scheme was for air crews in Africa? Was it the same as the ground troops.

Weathering would be key in making them look sharp.

I’d vary the paints on the uniforms quite a bit, since the Germans bleached them in Africa, and the effectiveness of that varied quite a bit.

Thanks so much for this. Bookmarking this video, cause I have no clue what colors to use. And after seeing this bootcamp, I might well invest in Bolt Action

Good tips. A good step away from “paint it all dessert yellow” that I might have done to those poor Arfix soldiers.
