Oh yess! Relicblade is fantastic! I love the style of it, and what makes it even cooler is that Sean is the artist, sculptor and the rules writer! It plays easy, fun, fast and can have a lot of tactical choices!
Proud to have supported Sean since the first wave!
Your coverage is amazing. I keep thinking I’m caught up and, nope, another vlog just gets put up!?! 🙂
Good Sir, kindly tell me more of these Battle Pigs that you speak of!
The first Adversaries in Relicblade: http://relicblade.com/shop/relicblade-two-player-battle-set
Wave three being released now adds a Pig Cheiftain in a faction set for $35. And it’s really cool!
I would very much recommend picking up the seekers handbook in addition to the two player battle set as it gives you a lot of campaign and progression rules in addition to a lot more scenarios.
They are my absolute favorite faction. They play very horde-tactic like, with less available upgrades but what they lack in upgrades they make up for in raw strength and numbers.
never heard of them before
That’s why I love events like Adepticon. It introduces you to a lot of new stuff that you may not have access too.
I’m interested now, good job 🙂
Relicblade is my jam! Super characterful, super easy to learn, yet as already stated, there is plenty of tactical depth. The sculpts keep getting better and better each wave, and are really fun to paint. This is the only miniatures game, I can get the wife to play with me.
Great coverage Dawn. If you get a chance to talk to Sean again, I’d like to know what he has planned next for the game after wave 3 is delivered.
I will try to ask him 🙂
When will you be able to buy a game in Europe ??
IMHO, they need a rule set that we can print and play. After getting a hold of the Saga PnP it changed my mind although it was too late ( I know they opened up for BoW fans but I allocated my money to something else). It would be nice to have more game play information. While $35 is not a big buy in, there are so many other games around I would like to read the rules or see a play through to get a better idea.
On the relicblade website store, there is a free quickstart download… check it out. There is also a digital starter bundle with all the campaign rules and cards for $14.
You can get the print and play materials on his website relicblade.com in the shop. They’re quite affordable.
intresting
Looks nice more pics please
I love the art style and the cards, and from what I have seen about it on GMG the campaign system with the ‘lite’ base building seems really neat. I will have to pick up the rules some time, though I am a little confused as to which of the cards I would actually need to play.
2 hour game low buy in might be a contender.
So many games, not enough time or funds.
now this game got my attention
Very cool minis.
Did I hear this correctly, battle pigs?
You did indeed! 😀
Neat looking game.
This looks cool 🙂
Love the look of the miniatures so far, can we get a better look?
He had me at Battle Pigs.
This seems to have passed me by, I’m very interested now.
The game looks interesting. Gonna have to find out more about it.
Nice models
I am going to have to give this a second consideration. There are so many cool games. If only I had bigger budget!
Best thing is you really don’t need much to play nukemechanic. The core box will give you quite a bit. I’d probably add a couple of expansions, but then you’re good for a full campaign.
