Where’s Indy when you need him
I think he’s involved in another project right now, entitled “Indiana Jones and the retirement home of Oblivion”. It revolves round a quest for the much coveted zimmer frame of miraculous mobility.
Got stabbed by his son. 🙁
He’s running The Great War and World War Two youtube channels.
😀
Way to go Germans, keeping potatoe mashers crossed for the 2K game!
oh no
@silverfox and @wilco92 – The campaign was really starting to slide toward the DAK / Panzergruppe Afrika by this point.
The Ark of the Covenant only grants a slight advantage???
the ark in german hands explains why the germans made return on the map the second they touched it
Well, it would have been more of a German advantage for the Ark – except John had his eyes closed in the cage when the opened it – so he was spared the lightning. This allowed his cage stream game to continue with Charlie, despite the Ark’s effects. 😀
20mm proving its worth
Sure to turn the tides of the war.
@collins and @patrickkyle82 – nothing but true. 😀
Don’t worry, the Germans will melt if they try to open the ark. 🙂
I shot Indy.
In one game of RPG. Our group sat in a german truck, disguised as germans, arcnapping the arc, then one strange idiot jumped from a car behind us on our truck. So i stopped him.
End of Story.
Fortunately, @skodamarine – they’ve seen the move so know not to open the ark.
And @andre77 – is THAT what happened? We didn’t have the real Indy on this table? Or he was still recovering from when you shot him? 😀
Called it – Indy’s sneaked onto one of John’s stugs
those pesky germans!!!
Very true, @bennu or @toricova – I think the Germans did better this time because they didn’t have that arrogant Belloq them.
So fitting. Great work all. If I had known the arc was in motion I would gave flown over Indiana for the day.
where is Jones
@hauptmanncanuck – does that come with a progressing red line that “flies” over a 1930s map of Indiana? 😀 And @normandyfan – as we see in the third movie, the line is properly delivered in German:
“Wo ist Joooooooones?”
let them take the Ark .. we all know what happens when they open it
This certainly has to have some effect on the overall historical campaign lol
@beardragon14 and @dukeexeter – oh, make no mistake, the campaign is OVER. We just rolled 1d6 after this. On 1-3, the Germans open the Ark and they all die, overwhelming Commonwealth victory. On a 4+ the Germans have already seen the movie and know not to open the Ark, and the British lose completely.
See no bren gun carrier so a lose. Must use bren gun carriers!!!!!!
Spotted one!
From our 2014 Normandy trip, at the Omaha Museum over Vierville Beach.
This is the great machine goes anywhere could use some amour but love it all the same.
Can’t argue, @greaper. They didn’t call it “universal” for nothing. 😀 This is a running model I actually to to see in France at a Normandy museum a few years ago. They turned over the engine and everything.
Brilliant and so thematic
sneaky DAK forces again
@cheezfriend and @uptrebor – absolutely. 😀 Badass tables and excellent players!
The victorious Germans capture their prize, now all they need to do is open the box to see what’s inside…
I thought of that, so in a safety measure I soldered it shut in advance
@Avernos and @georgesealy – And THAT’s why the Germans didn’t lose this campaign! See, I thought they had just seen the movie and so knew not to open the Ark.
Up here for thinking *points at head* down there for dancing *points at feet*
Covered all your bases. 😀
very much so
Definitely need ti get myself a ark!! Also and Dr Jones character running around the battlefield!!
Noooooo! The movies lied to me!
Absolutely, @dane001 – and @khy0te – it’s all about rewriting history. 😀
It’s all up to Indy to save the day now 🙂
Sounds like it was a fun game.
@fireblarney – yep, now it’s time for the desert chase. 😀
Definitely looked like it, @falerox – although I only saw a short amount of it. 😀
Hmmm 😀 Best reaction.
If you want to stop them just ask them to have a look inside 🙂
@pojoh – Yeah, he’s a man of few words sometimes. 😀
It might not work, @carabus – I think they have seen the movie. 😀
