Tinkering Away On Building & Painting Underway

We've still got some Hobby Weekender folk coming in to start building their armies.

Some of have been tinkering away getting some paint down onto miniatures too and you can watch out for a video on base coating, spraying and more down the line.

I can almost imagine monks quietly chanting in the background.

Hobby Zen is its own reward. It just takes some of us some amount of dedication. We’re here to learn 🙂

I thought they were all one piece. I guess I was wrong. Stills seems like pretty simple assembly though.

I’m glad they didn’t go with one piece mini’s. I’m liking some of the miniatures and the various colours being used.

those horses look really nice …. painting the minis for this game alone should be fun already.

do they suggest to prime the cape of the cavaliers separately?

It looks so great! I am joining in with getting some hobbying done. I made a Necron monolith and a unit of Grey Hunters for my wolfies.

Awesome sauce for getting in on the hobby train and many points for being a Space Wolf comrade in arms – Go Russ or Go Home! 🙂

The quick build really helps. Often I just want to dive in and start painting!

For as few pieces that these are and the fact that it’s not hard plastic, I’m really happy with them. I was able to get my boxed set from Adepticon assembled and ready to play in about an hour. There are few other miniatures games that can duplicate that…

Last night I built 6 units [both heroes, both large monsters, the undead archers and the cavalry]. Took like 2 hours, only because I was watching videos and taking my time on the cleaning.
