Mix The Paranoia RPG With Wargaming – New Rules & Minis!
November 5, 2025 by brennon
Modiphius are now taking pre-orders for a brand new 32mm scale wargame set within the same world as the Paranoia roleplaying game. Paranoia: Five Clones from Alpha Complex comes from the minds behind Five Parsecs from Home and Five Leagues from the Borderlands but with a quirky, Paranoia-themed twist.
Paranoia: Five Clones from Alpha Complex // Modiphius
The dark humour of the Paranoia roleplaying game has been baked into this new set of wargaming rules for solo, cooperative and group play. You will join a team (a loose term) of Troubleshooters who have to complete missions for Alpha Complex to keep it safe. You are not part of a secret society and you definitely don't have mutant powers.

In no way are there also traitors in your midst and if there were, you'd shoot them in the back and make sure you reported it to the authorities, right? If all goes to pot, you need not worry as there are identical clones waiting in the wings to come in and finish the job. Can you trust them, though?
Paranoia: Five Clones from Alpha Complex // Modiphius
As Modiphius says in the description for the game - Trust The Computer. It never makes mjstakes. The book will contain the aforementioned rules for solo, cooperative and group play, plus ways to introduce Games Mastered scenarios. The mechanics for the game are fast-moving and tuned towards fun rather than complexity.
There are also fifty Mutant Powers (which, again, you don't have...) alongside twenty points of starting equipment so you can arm your team. This then leads into a full Mission Generator alongside twenty Scenarios and seven types of Objective. You'll also get Secret Society and Security Clearance rules and plenty of foes like IntSec Troopers, Vulture Squadron Warriors, Bots, Mutant Creatures, Monsters, and Aliens.
If that wasn't enough, the game is also packed with rules for hazards, optional rules and more. It's a chonky book and perfect for those looking for a silly new game.
Paranoia Miniatures
These new rules are then backed up by a full set of miniatures for you to sink your teeth into. Start where the action is and a set of Troubleshooters!
Paranoia Miniatures - Troubleshooters // Modiphius
In this set, you get six miniatures that break down into three Female Troubleshooters and three Male Troubleshooters. Take on the task of proving your loyalty to the Computer by deleting problems with lethal efficiency. You're all on the same side, right? I'm sure that guy with the hammer has your best interests at heart.
If there's a major problem, maybe you rely on Security to come to your aid. Yeah...
Paranoia Miniatures - Security // Modiphius
Why are you running away? Come back! We just want to ask you some questions (at the end of a terrifying-looking gun). This set comes with three Blue Troopers alongside three Security Guardbots (who exactly are they guarding?).
Whilst you're running away from Security, you might then find yourself facing down the Vulture Squad!
Paranoia Miniatures - Vulture Squad // Modiphius
Yeah, these folks look super good. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about when you see these smiling jerks running down a corridor towards you. This set comes with three Vulture Bots and three Vulture Squad Troopers.
Occasionally, you might run into all sorts of oddities when you're on your adventures. Are the safety features on those Utility Bots turned on?
Paranoia Miniatures - Utility Bots // Modiphius
This set comes with four of these robots, the Bulldozer, Butcher, Mosquito and the Peacekeeper. I'm sure that the Computer has done everything possible to make sure these robots are on your side. Why is Keith flat out on the kitchen table?
Last but not least, we have the High Programmers. These are the folks who have your best interests at heart and pull all the (right) strings to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Paranoia Miniatures - High Programmers // Modiphius
Just follow the rules and you'll be fine. Why are there four pairs of Smoking Boots in the office? Pay no mind, I'm sure it's just a training exercise. This set also comes with a Female Programmer and a Male Programmer who will be doing the rounds.
All of these miniatures from Modiphius are 32mm scale and come as multi-part resin kits. A wonderful range that should give you a good starting point as you dive into Paranoia: Five Clones from Alpha Complex. This sounds hilariously good fun.
The Computer is your friend. Trust the Computer...

Take my money! Vulture Squad should be green not red though
Have you just disrespected the choices of the Computer? * hits silent alarm under desk *
“I’m sorry citizen, you don’t have sufficient security clearance for that information.”
Vulture Squad has always been red.
These are in their official uniforms.
Anyone claiming these colours are wrong is obviously a traitor.
They only wear green on odd days in, evens are red.
Computer says NO
Computer says … yes?!?
wallet says nope …
Fine, I’ll buy this! We love the paranoia rpg, been playing it on and off for decades as a palette cleanser between long campaigns.
Star Schlock has a few miniatures that would fit perfectly too.
The Hight Programmer’s looks like the Ori an the Trobleshooter is a maintenance squad fighting the attackers of their homes all the sets are fabulous looking game figures
But where’s the smoking boots mini?
There are 4 of them in the high programmer bundle
I’m a bottle 🤔
In a bottle 🤦
I wish they would bring back the Mongoose sets – the guy with the hole in his chest, and the troubleshooter trying to use a vacuum as a gun were hilarious!
I sort of forgot I have those, LOVE them!
@chaoshead87 if you want to dispose of them, hit me up … 😁
I’ll keep you in mind if I decide to let them go.
