A Crazed Wizard Joins Nocturna Models’ The Quest Kickstarter

Nocturna Models have already added to their Kickstarter campaign for The Quest. Here we have the rather crazed looking Wizard known as Andvare who looks like he'd make a fantastic addition to any mage-lovers collection...

This chap comes as a 70mm Add-On for the campaign although maybe they could be convinced to produce him in a smaller scale as well to fit in with the rest of their 35mm cast. I think people would love Andvare for use in skirmish games and as a part of big battles.

I really like the sculpt too which is full of motion as the earth around the mage floats up - power coursing through him.

Geez, this is a nice sculpt, indeed!
Reminds me of the Heroquest expansion about the wizards working for Morcar. Especially the storm themed hermit, obviously.
Loved that one. And still do.

And………………it’s cancelled. Hope they can work out the kinks and relaunch with something both they and the potential backers can be happy about:

We have decided to temporarily stop the campaign due a good reason. We have the feeling that we are not making the best for you.

We want to thank all of you for supporting us, sharing our contents and help us in every way, (you are the best!), but we have made mistakes with the global plan of the campaign and the figures we are offering. That does not allow us to present you everything we have in mind.

So after thinking a lot we have decided to pause, rectify and prepare a clearer, more reasonable and really better campaign, and relaunch it in a short lapse of time.

We are ready to work harder to improve everything in a way that you feel that waiting is worth your time. For all backers, we can assure that this will be only for better!

We will be back soon with news and a full story to tell. This is being our own adventure, and we feel really lucky to count on you in it.
