Clearly, the Force is strong with the OP, who just keep delivering the best board games of the biggest franchises! In their latest announcement, Star Wars: Dark Side Rising, players must work together to recruit rebels and destroy the construction of the Death Star.

Each player begins as the leader of a rebel cell: Intelligence, Leadership, Support or Tactical, each with their own individual player board. This board depicts their base of operations - Tatooine, Alderann, Yavin 4, or Lothal - and their team leader - Captain Cassian Andor, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Hera Syndulla.

Players must them work together to recruit iconic figures to their cause, including C3Po, R2-D2, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, and Admiral Raddus. In a race against time, players must direct their rebel forces across the galaxy, defeating sinister agents before they can complete construction of the deadliest weapon in the galaxy!

Star Wars: Dark Side Rising is the second in the series of The OP's 'Rising' games, with Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War being released last year. Star Wars: Dark Side Rising won't be released until late 2019, but The OP will be demoing all the Darth Vader gamer glory at UK Games Expo in June, so keep an eye on OnTabletop's coverage next weekend!
