If you're a fan of Mordheim and Grimdark Fantasy in general, then you might want to check out the new Kickstarter from Zenit Miniatures for the Reapers of the Profane! Hunt down the witch and the sorcerer with some new warbands for your 28mm scale wargames.

Reapers of the Profame Kickstarter - Zenit Miniatures

Reapers of the Profane Kickstarter // Zenit Miniatures

This is a brand new range of miniatures from Zenit that brings together their love of the Historical with elements of Dark Fantasy. On the one hand, you have the Reapers of the Profane who are the new figures that could be your deadly Witch Hunters in games of Mordheim.

This set comes with some great 28mm scale metal miniatures, including fearsome captains, flame-wreathed hunters, zealous priests and wild flagellants who will throw their bodies into the fighting in the name of their god. They are all in great poses, charging into the heart of the fighting with religious zeal in their hearts.

I like that you've also got the three hounds who can catch the scent of those who escape your ire. A really awesome set of miniatures, especially for the crowd like me who absolutely love the Witch Hunters from Warhammer of old.

As well as the Reapers of the Profane, you can also get miniatures for the Guard of Solara.

This set matches up well with your more historically adjacent miniatures from Zenit. You get some great knights and regular state troopers as well as a couple of archers focusing on targets running through the ruins. You also have a valiant-looking captain and the warrior priest with a massive hammer resting on his shoulder.

This could be another great set of miniatures that you could fold into your skirmish wargames, like the aforementioned Mordheim. Plus, if you want to get in right now (at the time of writing), you could also get yourself an excellent Mercenary Ogre who can be used to smash your way through the enemy as you're hunting down treasure and more.

Could you be tempted to snap up these metal miniatures as alternatives for your Grimdark wargames?
