November 7, 2025 by brennon
If you're looking to build more warbands for the Late Roman era, then Victrix has you sorted! Four new warbands are available for you to snap up, featuring a mixture of their different 28mm plastic kits alongside shield and banner sheets, so you can really nail the aesthetic of each.
New Warbands // Victrix Miniatures
We'll start with the newer additions to these warband bundles as we've already seen Victrix offering the Early Saxons and Late Romans. The Arthurian/Briton set is brilliant and could well be my first port of call for a new Historical warband in this period.
Briton/Arthurian Warband // Victrix Miniatures
This set gives you everything that you need for building a warband of the Britons during the 5th and 6th Centuries, an era of warring warlords and Saxon invaders. If you're looking to go Arthurian, then you can snap this set up, which contains Unarmoured and Armoured Infantry as well as Armoured Infantry Command, Heavy Cavalry Riders, Archers, Slingers and a bonus Late Roman head sprue.
Goth Warband
Going further afield, you can also pick up a Warband Bundle for your Goths! Head back to the 4th and 5th Centuries and build the allies AND enemies of the Romans during this period.

Once again, you get a good mixture of different sprues from the Late Roman collection that can be assembled in specific ways to get across that Germanic twist on the warband. You will also get the accompanying set of shield transfers, which will do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to showcasing who these warriors are and who they are fighting for.
Both the Goths and the Britons come with enough components to make thirty infantry figures and four mounted figures.
Early Saxons & Late Romans
Beyond the Britons and the Goths, you also have the Early Saxons and the Late Romans that we mentioned in a previous news story about these additions to the Victrix collection.

You can read more about our thoughts on those warbands HERE. If you're looking to get your hands on these sets, you get access to between thirty and thirty-six figures in each set and the transfer sheets are all available on the Victrix Miniatures website HERE.
Some nice ways for you to approach building new warbands for a variety of different Dark Age wargames. I really like the Victrix plastic kits as they are fun to assemble and incredibly detailed to match. A solid way for you to wargame the Arthurian Age.
What do you think of these four warbands?
