Wargames Atlantic Welcome Rifleman Harris To Salute 2026!

April 9, 2026 by brennon

Wargames Atlantic announced that they have another special guest joining them at Salute 2026 this year. Jason Salkey, the man behind Sharpe's Rifleman Harris, will be joining them at their booth to answer your questions about his time filming Sharpe.

As well as announcing that Jason Salkey will be there, we also got to see the 54mm miniature and the 28mm miniature for Rifleman Harris that you'll soon be able to get from Wargames Atlantic (as a note, it doesn't seem like it will be available at Salute to buy). Again, the miniature is based on the character from Sharpe's Rifles, just like the one for Harper and Sharpe that we've already seen released.

The 54mm version of the character shows Rifleman Harris, most likely unhappily, looking on as he gets dragged into another scrap or skirmish when he'd prefer to be sitting down reading his book!

There will also be a 28mm scale version of Rifleman Harris included in the set, showing him getting ready to take a shot at some dastardly Frenchman.

As with the other miniatures from the Sharpe range, there will be a couple of different options for you to choose from when building the 28mm version of the character. It will be neat to see what those are, as we'll probably get a version of Harris without his shako on.

As mentioned, Jason Salkey will be at Salute this weekend, so if you're coming to the event and want to chat Sharpe with one of the iconic Riflemen, make sure to head on over to the Wargames Atlantic booth.

Do you like the new miniature for Rifleman Harris that Wargames Atlantic has put together? I think they've done a great job of getting Jason Salkey's likeness across in both the 54mm miniature and the 28mm miniature.
