Upcoming NLF (National Liberation Front) local forces company aka Charlie
So in july i planing my participation on the “malathon 2018” hard to translate. Actually it means “Mal Marathon” or in english paint marathon. So that is 42 miniatures in 31 days.
For me i will take on the (National Liberation Front) local forces company aka Charlie. Or better companies. because these are 2 companies with 6 platoons, with 2 LMG-teams and 2 light mortar teams + command teams. And to get the 42 i add the HQ teams and one platoon of medium mortars.
In the background you can see some more platoons. A MMG platoon, a recoiless gun platoon, 3 bunker, a AA-MG platoon and “civilians”. But these additional miniatures can be done later than july.
So expect some more pics on my progress.
Awesome, @andre77 – That’s going to be an amazing NLF force when it’s all ready. Mine is only 50 figures from Old Glory Miniatures, but includes some RPGs and officers. I actually enjoyed painting my NLF more than my NVA / PAVN, as there’s a little more variation in the “uniforms.” I also tried to paint bare feet with sandals, actually quite crazy at 15mm, but its worth it in the close up! I look forward to seeing this all put together.
We need more Vietnam armies and games on the site. Keep it up!
