Cthulhu obelisk

I found this Cthulhu obelisk thingy from Fenris games in my bits box. I bought it years ago and haven’t done anything with it. I’ve been playing a fair bit of resident evil 4 lately, and the village in that is full of weird cult stuff like that, so I thought I’d just add it in.

The obelisk undercoated.

I’ve painted this up in the same way as the gravestones, by drybrushing it grey, followed by a lighter grey and then by ivory. Unlike the gravestones this thing is a lot craggier and bigger. So I added an extra step. I gave it a very patchy light drybrush of Lothern Forest. This gave it an effect like there’s lichen on it. It’s not that visible in the pictures but you can definitely see it with the naked eye.

Also Empire was great. I can’t wait for the next one.
