A lot of fun but need to continue to thin down the paint as the fur is a little thicker than I would have hoped.

they’re looking well and considering you’ve not even reached 20 minis they’re nice and neat, shading and highlighting look decent as well.
For the fur did you consider drybrushing as a highlight?
What shield transfers are you going for, waterslide or some of Little Big Man’s sticky ones?
Thanks! 🙂 I did try. I’m currently using army painter. There was a base of werewolf fur and dry brush of banshee brown but it just didn’t look right. I think the banshee brown just wasn’t the right choice? Or maybe I should use a wash at that stage?
I have some Little Big Mans on the way.
sorry I missed this, I would use a similar colour to banshee brown myself so I don’t think that’s it.
What you could do is just drybrush the bottom half of it, I mean really heavily drybrush the bottom half so you almost have brown top and cream bottom, then wash over it so you get that transition on the fur that a lot of dogs and wolves have. Dark along the top and white underbellies.
