Spring Cleaning Challenge: Imperial Guard (PROJECT COMPLETE!)
My Starting Point
I’ve posted the handful of minis that have been painted so here’s part of the rest who haven’t.
Grenadier, Infantry. The Grenadiers Man the heavy Weapons and Wear Inverted Colours, a Cap Rather than a Helmet and are the Squad Level heavy Weapons Experts
The Missile Launcher is a PIAT Taken from a Warlord Games British Paratroopers Sprue. The Cap and Pistol are from Perry Miniatures British in the Sudan Sprue. All Bodies are from Perry Miniatures ACW Zouaves.
Sergeant, Infantry
Sergeants Carry the Ceremonial Tribal Swords of the Planet. They Wear a Turban Instead of the Helmet and their Rank is Given on their Sleeves. One Mark on the Upper Arm is a Lance Corporal. One Mark on the Forearm is a Corporal. One Mark on Both the Upper Arm and Forearm is a Sergeant.
Private, Infantry. All Commands are Given Via Bugle and most of the Bugler's Carry Lightened Carbines. In Game These will be My Vox Casters.
The Hemlets Worn by the Men are a Traditional Model Inspired by Japanese Helmets. It is a Small Helmet Covered in a Faux Hair in the Tribal Colour of the Man Wearing it. The Tribal Differences are so Great that Entire Divisions are Raised from the Same Tribe so as not Risk Infighting.
A Carbine Taken from Perry Miniatures ACW Cavalry Sprue.
Not All Bugler's Carry Carbines, some Prefer their Old Rifle.
Bugler's Wear the Same Uniform as the Rest of the Infantry.
The Task Before MeNext Update will be some Fluff about the minis, I’ll try to break up Pic Dumps with some Fluff where I can.
