It still needs a bit of work to get it “Finished” but it looks fine. Not having to base anything and not needing to wait for a wash to dry really speeds up the process.
Great work, @elessar2590 – I agree, I never base my vehicles. If you’re trying to get those American Sherman upgrades to look like Fireflies … and apologies if you’re already working on this … some kind of muzzle brake would go a long way. The Firefly’s 17-pounder usually had a very rounded, single-chamber muzzle brake that I always found very distinctive (even American M4A3E8 “Easy Eight” upgraded with the M1A1 76mm upgrades had an almost German-style double chamber muzzle brake). I was looking for a way to get the Muzzle Break right I’ll try out the beads idea. The Platicard at the back is going to have some Foiliage Camo around it to hide the lack of an extended turret and there’ll be some more on the top to hide the hatches.
