Hi @civilcourage this is one of the older LOTR minis, the Perry sculpted Serpent Riders. Trimmed off some details and left off the horned backpack, replacing it with a resin one a friend of mine makes for Imperial Guard. Will add chainsword and laspistol to the saddle if possible via spare bits but I think it turned out very Tallarny for a test model!
same would love to know the model and any extra work youve done to it. loved the old imperial guard armies, catachens and cadians were by far the most boring!

Looks great. Is he going to be a bit small for 40k? Although he might look correct for a human amongst marines thinking about it.
He looks pretty good scale wise against his Officer. Dont think the Perry’s did the old 2nd Edn IG officers but the scale is close as to make no difference.. and definitely looks like Homo Sapiens next to Homo Astartes!
