In the game, you can also play as the Doom Slayer with a few upgrades if you tackle it one versus one. Whilst this model and his base might be a bit big for the board game I thought it was well worth painting up this take on the character from KLUKVA Miniatures.

This fellow was painted in a similar style to the models from the board game. I went for washes and shades followed by drybrushing and a little bit of detail work in order to make the model pop.

It is a rather nice diorama but I would like a smaller based version of the Doom Slayer to use in the board game. I might look to Hardcore Miniatures and their version of Doom Guy from way-back-when!
