Painting this first orc has been a really useful exercise in helping to decide the tone I want to have for my new HeroQuest set.
The original minis, with their simple almost cartoon designs lent themselves to a brighter more punchy style.
The amazing sculpts by Boris, on the other hand, I feel suit a more subdued and muted approach.
What do you think? Have I found the right tone for the new set?
