Macchi C.202 part one
For the Macchis there was no printfile of good quality so I decided to make on on my own. I used Blender to culpt the plane and an Elegoo Mars Pro to print them.
As opposed to most of the Warlord planes the details are a bit shallow as I never liked the overdone panel nines on the early Warlord plastics.
Using s cheap 50€ Aliexpress airbrush (which works very well) I did abit of colour modulation to get a bit of debth into the little planes.
Now I just have to wait for the decals.
Cr.42 and SM.79 are already printed.
Did you sculpt them all from scratch or did you use some game assets? People on twitch need to know.
I just put some references images into blender and sculpted them from scratch there.
I used reference cubes for scaling the panel lines compared to the overall length.
Nice. Does it take you long or do you blender works “for a living”?
I got a few complications on the way but overall it does not take me too long if I keep in mind that I dont use blender for a living.
